Cognitive Distancing
My body had a true gut/brain axis shutdown over the holiday. Thankfully, I had experienced something similar in my 20s or I might have added panic to what was taking place. It’s weird, emerging from the haze my comfort level is resolute more than anything to the battle in front of us. Sadly, my countenance has become curt and somewhat heavy. Maybe it’s just the gray sky today.
Yesterday, the United States invaded a country to kidnap a head of state without Congressional counsel nor approval. Probably not the first time, but historians will argue the most blatant. Ironically, an executive action that mirrors the kleptocratic dictatorship being removed.
The 2025 Nobel Prize winner for peace is Venezuelan. She too wanted President Marduro gone, but for reasons beyond fossil fuels. I see a medal being offered in the near future, completing the staged international performance.
UPDATE: Good news. Seems my gut was wrong on this. No bowing seems to be in the immediate foreground. YAY!
